VOLUNTEERING
Volunteers engaging in direct service with our program will be doing so at our fixed site location
at Green Street UMC (please note that there are stairs that need to be navigated, and there may
be some light lifting involved. Duties of direct service volunteers include, but are not limited to:

Taking and/or bagging participants' orders

Signing up new volunteers

Restocking supply cabinets after every shift

Assisting in making wound care kits, naloxone kits, and other supplies for distribution as needed

Assisting with restocking our mobile unit

Organizing our supply room
Other volunteer opportunities include participating in neighborhood cleanup days and naloxone
kit-making parties. These volunteer opportunities happen periodically and are a great way to
learn more about our program.
